what ever happened to the armlet of atys?

i seem to remember this being one of the reasons i preordered. but when i got into the game it was finished/working. so what ever happened with that? was there supposed to be something special about it? cause i don't remember ever getting the story about it.

i know its kinda a shield i guess but not much more than that? i would almost prefer if it was just a status symbol i could wear at all times instead of a sheild i could only equip when i am not crafting or harvesting. kinda like how the closed beta testers got the title "elder of atys".

cerest, is the armlet ever gunna have any value? if not then can i please trash it or move it to my packer? i am tired of it being there.

The armlet is just a decorative item. You can keep it for special occasions if you like though, it is a bit of a status symbol.

ah ok. thanks cerest. does that mean that it can be moved to a packer now? its hard to remember the last time i tried but i seem to remember being unable to move or remove it. i don't really want to get rid of it though i would like to move it from my bag.

armlet can't be put onto a packer, same with travel tickets
once the armlet reached 0/10 (atleast on me) it disappeared (like a broken item)

while it was at 1/10 it kept telling me that i need to find another soon

it is only of use to a character under level 20 from what i recall, i have it on my alts in there inventory, but my main no longer has his since it went poof

i was hoping there would be quests down the road to increase it and make it stronger and better, like eq when you got items from pre-purchase expansions and you could quest and make them more powerful or more usefull

hah, i wasnt sent a preorder code on time and made my account before i entered the code... so since i typed in the code a day after i made my toon i dont get an armlet at all.

I had to send off for my pre order code. Because I didnt get it with my purchae of the pre ordered game, a week later Sept 29th I finally got around to putting in my pre order code number and now have the arm band that interfers with lvl ing of you charaters, Like it was said its just a little status symbol that really doesnt do anything for you in game except look good.
