Hi guys, i just started playing Ryzom, and im a Tryker. I only see about 10-15 people in the main zone. Is this normal? It seems kind of low for an MMORPG. Am i in the wrong place?

It seems a bit low for a normal day. You may see more at prime time. The players in Ryzom seem to be a bit older crowd, most have jobs and other life commitments. I saw quite a few people this weekend and usually prime time is fairly populus.
During the day, things did seem a bit slower today than normal. Ebb and flow. Ryzom certainly has a lower population than other more big name titles. It still doesn't stop me from enjoying myself and the people who play all seem quite nice.

/who only shows players in your specific area, this means that if you look at the map (M) it will only show folks in the same dashed line border as you. If you are in the newbieland still and havent gone to the mainland, this could explain why. If you are on saturday morning/afternoon there is a group doing a matis>zora trek at noon. Since tryker is between the matis and zora, you could easily get access to zorai lands then

In addition, thursday evening there is a trip from matis to tryker and back to matis in the evening if you have a hankering to go see some matis landscapes

this game has a VERY low user count because of all the crappy reviews it got.
