I enjoy world travel, I am an explorer type. My characters name is Ferra. If you are having a world tour I would be interested in helping whenever I could.

Thanks for those offering help or advice. If you are planing a trip from Zoria and willing to have my along for the Journey please PM me here so I know about it.

I have tried numerous times to get through Underspring alone, and I just don't think it is a viable option, the density of aggro mobs and and kitin patrols is such that it would take phenomonal luck to make it. I have recently been trying to make it through the Trench of Trials to Tryker instead, and have already got as far as the Kinchers that guard the Tryker portal. So, thus far although still incredibly difficult alone, it is allot easier to go that way than Underspring. As for the rest of the journey from Tryker to Fyros I can't say.

Melee Auras were mentioned, and I have been thinking about getting that to help since i have spare fight skill points. I was wondering if I had that ability I would have made it past those kinchers to the Tryker portal. Anyone care to explain how they work? The stanza info tells me I something like immune to melee atacks for 0 seconds, which natually makes me wonder why anyone would use them, but I'm guessing this isn't an accurate description.

Never mind about the melee aura question figured it out. for anyone else who was wondering about it, the aura works for what seems a little less than 10 seconds and doesn't restrict any actions, was a big help getting past those last few kinchers.

So now I have made it to Bounty Beach, and I'm begining to think this place is far worse than the Trench of Trials. Any tips on navigating this hellish beach would be appreciated.

Well, BB is hell and a half. Under Springs on the other hand is just hell. So I suggest trying US until your heart stops or you manage to slip by. Worked for me, and I managed to get through both US and Hidden Source in the same night. I guess I was just in the zone :S That was a season ago, so things are different now. But I still think it's possible but not easy! You can doooo it Richard!

Bounty Beaches is super easy right now.. decided to give it a run last night before I logged and made it within 50 yards of portal on first try. Then I ran up to my closest safe point to the portal in two or three trys and logged. I plan to finish it soon with all my auras etc. There are no cutes or torbaks near the roots side of the portal.. no mobs at all for the first part of the run.

Last night while trying to get across Bounty Beaches I figured out a path that easily got me to the Slaver Camp, which is a little further than half way. However, I wasn't sure where the way out was to the next zone, and where I was guessing it was, opposite the city in the next zone, was completely blocked off by aggro creatures, kitins, and those annoying Cutes.

I really don't know about getting across Under Spring, I found it FAR harder than crossing Trench of Trials. Kudos to any of you that have manged it since all those patrols were placed there.

The exit is up in the northeast part of BB. Good luck! If you need help getting from Matis to Fyros I'd be happy to show you the way.

The lost Fyros update.. I was lucky to be able to group with others trying to get across Bounty Beach and made it across. Actually, I made it twice but the first time didn't realise that as a Fyros who hasn't worked on his Karavan fame I don't get a bind point at the portal on the other side. At first I thought it was a bug that I didn't get a respawn there, and was bothering the GMs about it. The enterance to the Tryker side is so dense with aggro that I think it would be extraodinarily hard to get past solo.

My drama didn't end there though. A bug other than of the kitin kind plauged me trying to get to fairhaven for a bind spot. I must of crashed at least half a dozen times if not more. At this point I was really quite fearful of dieing and being sent back to the roots side of Bounty Beach. Fortunately for me two Homins Gorran and Nukema guided me to Fairhaven. Anyway, I have actually made it Tryker now, and after a whole week of trying to get back to Pyr, it is at least a little encouraging that I have finally made some progress.

anyone have travel plans between Tryker and Matis? ;)

Yes it's me again, nearly two weeks now since a mischievous kami sent me to Zora and I'm getting close to home, but I'm not there yet. I joined Gfunk's Tryker to Matis event and now have a bind at Yrk. I am now trying to make the final leg of the journey to the Fyros border via the Hidden Source. Only made one attempt so far, and at least got as far as to get a new bind point at the Prime Roots enterance in Knot of Dissent before dieing to a gaint gibbon man ... err I mean Gibberai.

So, i'm looking for any help or information on getting to the Fryros/Matis border. (Madnak if your offer is still open I would gladly accept any assistance you can give). I have been told that in the Tylini Gate area at about 200 - 300m away from the portal to Fyros there's some Cutlers that cannot be avoided. I have melee aura 1 and speed 2, but i'm not sure that would be enough to get me by, could anyone elaberate on that obsticle? Also is there any other very difficult to pass area I should be aware of?

The mobs may have changed a bit since I made the run, but the hard part is definitely the gate. It's possible to get through the clopper but you have to be very lucky. Melee aura 1 and speed 2 are probably not enough. If you're persistent and patient you can do it without any auras at all - I went along the south edge of Tylini gate and hugged the wall. The main problem is a group of torbak hanging out there (and some kitin will wander in sometimes, too). If you wait until the torbak are out of the way you can get through and keep hugging the south wall, then go north along the west wall to reach the portal.

The torbak are usually guarding the area, though. I'd recommend getting some help. If you can wait until the weekend I can help you get through, just send me (Saiwin) a tell in-game.
