Ok, Range really do suck atm. While we wait for the Devs to tweak it, if they ever do (*hint*hint*wink*winkk*nudge*nudge*) I've got an idea for all of us tards that focused all our skills in crafting range and ammo to do something USERFUL with our talents.
Let's start stock piling guns and ammos. Once there are enough guns and ammos to go around (say about enough to equip an army of 500?), we advertise and hand out the guns and ammos free to any who wants to participate, and then, we move as a whole group through the land and shoot stuff! Hahahahahhaha!
I am thinking if we have 500 players focus all their guns on 1 Moderate to Hard Kipee, we can take it down in one second flat.
We can start with easy prey and move on to see how high a lvl mob we can get to.
One of the problem I see is a common meeting place to get started. Maybe we should wait until more people have access to other lands to meet up.
Coordination would be another, but we can work something out.
We should also bring along a healer and a few high melee to "back us up" just in case things doesn't work out
So what do y'all think?

or u could send 10 magi to do the same damage 500 rangers would do 
Here is an idea, sit down,put the ranged crafting tool away, accept the fact that range is obsolete at the moment, all will be so until the devs think otherwise, make yourself a leftover turkey sandwich.
End of story.

Most effective way to level ranged? Make Sap Crystals, load your acid spell into your gun, kill mobs.
I made 1k ammo out of 2 hours harvesting. took me an hour to use it, without using enchants. Don't say enchants are cheating because you can use them on swords and stuff too! Anyways, with enchants it'd prolly take me 3-4 hours to use, and instead of gaining 8 levels in one hour I could have gained 10 per hour for 3 hours.
That's only because my other levels are so much higher of course. My regen is faster than a roaming can hit me for when in heavy armor.
I was leveling from 22 ranged with Q60 bowrifles I make. I think pistols are more economical at the moment if you want to use ranged + enchants. I can get the medium fashion pistols but after seeing how crappy my middle range bowrifle and shield are I might not.
Damage isn't the only thing that should be upgraded on these things! make them look cool too!
I'm not using crappy mats either. It's an 'excellent' bow rifle.
