Post Patch 1 Wishlish
Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
Oh yeaaaaah, what xev said about the player list.... have it so you can even remove or add to ignore homins who aren't logged.
Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
Offensive spell operation needs to be revisited. Currently leveling a melee fighter is incredibly easy compared to leveling a offensive magician.
The heavy armor makes all the difference.
I am not saying that caster should be able to use heavy armor and spells effectivly, or that they should be as resistant to dammage as fighters with heavy armor, or even that magicians should be as efective at soloing as melee fighters, but we do need some reasons that make offensive magic a viable path.
I think the best way is to reduce the amount of resistance the mobs have to magic dammage, and reduce the chance that our spells will fail. The only way a lone mage is going to make it int he wide wide world is if they can kill the baddie before the baddie can get to them. That means the spells have to hit hard and hit often. Giving the offensive magician the ability to do dammage monsters above thier own level would give them a useful role in group combat.
I don't mind being careful and taking the mobs by suprise, but the field is tilted so heavily in favor of the melle fighter that it would seem only two viable combat templates exist, the heavy melee fighter and the combat healer. This being the case, what is the point of the other magic lines?

I would like to see a raid group system ....

Seconded. The current team system is just not adequate for large group (multiple teams) efforts.
Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
I third that request. There has to be some system put in where everyone taking part gets some benefits, not just the high level groups.
I'd also like to request that you add what tribes the wandering NPC's belong to. I have seen many scouts, prospectors, patrollers, you name it, that have no indication who they represent. The only way to find out is by doing a mission. Of course then you might end up getting fame in an area you don't want.
Two more things:
First the ability to alphabatize our map bookmarks.
Second the ability to use our bookmarks on multiple computers. I house sit for someone quite often and everytime I go play on thier computer none of my bookmarks are there.

Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
1) Create a regional or global role playing chat channel.
2) Change the sound effect for prospecting. It sounds like nails on a chalkboard. I have to turn off the sound when I go out to harvest.
3) Make the fight animations more appropriate for piercing weapons. I hate to see my avatar whacking people over the head with his pike as if it was a blunt club. He swings his spear like it's a baseball bat. We should be thrusting with these weapons.
4) Make the different creatures look different. A suckling yubo shouldn't look exactly the same as a sprightly yubo. I'm not asking for new models. Just make the tougher versions larger than the weaker versions, or change their colors. That would take very little effort from the art department.

If you see them side by side, there is a distinct difference between suckling and sprightly yubo, same for any of the critters. For example, there is no mistaking a vicious ragus for a dangerous or malicious one or a robust bawaab for a grunting bawaab.
Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
ability to change packer's name
ability to cutomize packers physical appearance
ability to upgrade packer in defense, maybe have packer armor skill set... with this goes ability for packer to attack.
More Area of Effects spells, with that said, an AoE at a low level would be nice, as you lvl the spell up, it increases of how many mobs per spell it hits... or do an ACTUAL AoE, where it hit everything around the target within a certain radius... that would be nice.
Speed Increase Boots... if you wear them, you go faster, enough said.
High LvL Mages should have the ability to FLY/HOVER/FLOAT. A spell.
Missions need to vary more! Add more missions! Make a few QUESTs, missions that tie together, have great rewards when accomplished.
Maybe be able to zoom in one more time in the map... so i can more accurately place flag.
Somehow make FIRST time characters stay on newbie island for a minimum amount of days or maybe Level. Something to keep the brand new guys who are eager from coming over and then dying over and over again as soon as they step out from the gates...
I would like to be able to see EXACTLY what levels everyone is when I click on them. Maybe make it a skill you have to get, SCAN or something... also a TRACKING skill would be nice.
Oh.. be able to add a SPACE when typing into landmark flags.
There are areas on the sides of cliffs where we cant get into (design flaw? or secret areas?) They look like a nice retreat for staring towards nowhere...
How about some variety between the races with attributes? I know we do not want another EverQuest or anything, but just make each race a bit more dominant in one area than the others... I know about the Elemental Magics for each race... that looks promising...
FAME: Maybe if SeedHead Tribe like me alot and see me in trouble.. they would come to my rescue... with that... can we please be able to heal NPCs?
Oh A BIG THING! How do I heal my packer?! I can't!
This is suppose to be a semi Sci-Fi MMORPG, how about the ability to use a little something

Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
one more thing... i only dueled once, but i was not able to loot anything from my "enemy" . If I duel with someone, since I will not be getting any xp, I would love to aquire SOMETHING from the fight. Especially is I just spanked someone who was very rude to me.
Re: Post Patch 1 Wishlish
Basic change here, very basic.
Currently the way the instructions describe death is that you are acatually unconscious, for the 2 minute timer, during which time someone can heal you so that you become conscious.
But the system log states that you have been killed.
What I would like to see is a change, so that when you go unconscious, you show in the system window, that you have been knocked unconscious, along with a message that states, you have regained consciousness.
The only time I want to see the killed in the system window is when the timer runs out or the person clicks on respawn.
Thanks
