Err did i ever say that only the newbies acted like utter morons? no. And by newbies u mean low levellers, while i never said low levellers are newbies.

And i do think before i post, i mean, look at the post, its well thought up.

While getting the normal amount of DP would be a very harsh punishment for death, 1/4 of the normal DP would be reasonable no ? Would be like a cattle prod, once or twice has no real effect, but keep it to ur arm for half an hour and things will go numb.

Now in the case of multiple aspiring leaders, just :
a. Split into different groups that work well together
b. Actually agree on one leader (lol, not gonna happen)
c. Sit down and laugh sadistically as your group aggroes trains of Cutes and Gibbai, and u are the only healer. Heck it doesnt matter, no DP, free deaths for everyone !! ;)

on a sidenote, kill all bolobi, no, seriously....
Am i supposed to write something witty here ?

To me Events are for everyone, (If they are religion/race specific, you can still go, but it might not be in your favour :P )

If you lead a team and you can't control its, for one of two reasons:

1. You can lead
2. The team doesn't believe in you as a leader!

Leadership = resposiblity = its you fault if it goes wrong/the teams success.

This is just standard stuff!

If your group dies cas someone, dragged aggro on you ... thats a pain. Avoidance is the best solution.

People are ment to get excited about events! Isn't that the point! We are here to have fun after all.

Large events like this one are for All! We are supposed to save our lands!

Just cas you sent 100hrs getting to a high level, doesn't make you special!

Anyone can reach high levels, given time!

A level 50 fighter may know more about tatics and team work, than a lvl 250 power player who has chain killed mobs for weeks.

My summary of the event:

Didn't care about the travel time. Just because it was a long way didn't make the event bad.
0 DP, this should stay... its only while the event is running. And it allows everyone to at least experience the fun. (elitism realy sux IMO)
Dev/GMs worked really hard on making this event different to anything anyone had experience before, it was new even to the Beta tester!
Story+rewards+major challange+excitement=FUN!

It was great to see large numbers of Homin in one place.

I am sure the Devs/GMs have learned loads from what happened.

We sure don't want a dumbed down version, so everyone wins!

The fact we didn't win is much better IMO, cas it shows we have a long way to go :P

I hope the Guilds/Players learned alot about how their members work in difficult (uncontrolled) situations and are working on how to improve themselves!

Everyone wanted content - when it comes embrace it and cheer! This one event highlights that this game has huge potential!

Item drops from mob vs normal quater.
NPC/GM/Player interaction.
A chance to roleplay.
more meaningful integration of Karavan/Kami
and loads more.

Get with the progam people, I can't wait till then next one.

Getting someone to lead the way ain't easy at all, we even had split groups for a while on the Zorai side: some were looking for the Karavan agent, while others were looking for the 2nd camp to clean up but in the end everyone got together once we found it.

DP or no DP, i won't say anything to this as both sides have good arguments.

same answer about newbies & lowlevellers; we'll all be 250 in the end. Levels do not tell if you're a noob or a vet...

I'd like to add: events tend to last long: be patient, that's the key. Don't expect ultra xp gains, nor high end mats: during an invasion your homes are in danger, you're not fighting to train, you're fighting to survive!
(And i'd rather die at the gates of Pyr, defending my city against kitins than run away and hide somewhere in the desert like a coward, pretending "it's not my war")

Kitins, Gooed creatures: the Dragons are back to track you down!
Great Dragon: sooner or later you will pay for what you did...
