We came, we saw, we got spanked....

Let me start off by saying that last night event was fun even though we suffered a humiliating defeat, so to everyone who was there thanks and we will get em next time.



So just what happened in Bounty Beaches? Last night Tryker and Matis amassed a large army to drive out the primitive tribes that had invaded Bounty Beaches. It took some organizing but we eventually got things moving but somehow we never even got close to achieving our goal. Mobs seemed to have a massive aggro range and a cell phone to invite all their friends to the party. For most of us dieing only took seconds and after that it was back to Windemeer to regroup and head back to BB.

So what did we do wrong or was there just no way we could've won?

Apparently Kami won on all 4 servers, maybe because our spawn was so far from the area?

Took us about 20mins to swim there and and get assembled and another 10 to get anywhere, so 3 or 4 attemps took as many hours.

After a bit some of the high lvlers attempted starting at the PR spawn and attacking the big outpost. We gradually took out many of their leaders, and took down the hero etc, all because we had a close spawn point and it was easier to organise a small grp.

With all 4 servers having convincing kami wins, you have to wonder about the balance of the difficulty?

I think the fact that we had to swim for 20minutes just to get to the bounty beaches is the first reason for our defeat. Another reason i would say is that Trycker seems to be the least populated land due to the crashes that a lot of people are experiencing there. For this event i witnessed like 10 crashes in 4 hours, this definetly needs to be fixed. Please don't flame me i might be wrong, this is just a thought.

Must admit I was crashing a lot more in tryker than normal

ie normally just my router goes on a rampage every 3hr 15min and resets but in tryker I dc'ed other than that 7 times, normally that never happens to me in matis

When, at the end of the event, we got to Trykerlands i crashed 2 or 3 times.
Never crashed in ages before so there's a crashing monster hidden in Fairhaven, or what?

indeed swimming around + crashes took their toll on the Karavan group, but in Zorai lands we also had casualties who couldn't catch up due to the gibbai & cutes rushing in, was quite frustrating for those who had to spawn in Min Cho instead of PR entrance...

but still, i'd like to thank the guides, senior guides, gms, sgms for their work there (first time i see a wise gibbaï ) and all who answered the call of war.

I'd love to hear more about the Karavan side, i.e. what happend, what were their goals and their mission...

Me at the back of the group and Sxarlet at the front was good, but many did stay when we tryd to leave and many did run in front of Sxarlet so we did get unorganized. I think that if everybody just did run and stop when we did say so we whould have done way better.

The story (the little I got out of a karavan emissary before getting killed) Were somthing like this:

Kami gathering an army to taker over bounty beach. An advanced karavan group were already sent in and have made an outpost. We were to protect the leader of the outpost, at the sametime we were to locate and kill 3 monsterleaders who were sending out raiding parties.

So how did it go?

Well I think I joined a little late. But still we were gathering an army just inside bounty beach tryker side. Ensuring all were on a team and then we headed out. We ran into a few scirmishes which we won easily. Something like 10 of us vs 1 of them Advancing slowly but surely. Then on the plains of bounty beach they came. It was really impressive. We had a rough line ready to meet them. But they hammered into it and in moments were past it to lay hawok among our healers and spellcasters. So ended my first trip.

With about 2/3 starting in windermeer moral was taking a dive. To put it bluntly on my team there where 8 when we head out first. When we were ready to head out again half had left. This time we hugged the rockwall and made a good distance too. Then from around a corner they where back ready from ambush and again we were anhilated in moments.

I resolved to try a third time as well. Svimming from windermeer. Peoples grumpling about wanting a respawn somewhere in bounty beach was heard, I think. Anyway we started out in a new direction. But then someone said something. Not sure who, And won't blame anyone falsly. In moments we were back on the same track we had tried twice before. This group was no match for the one I had been in during the first attempt. So I knew how this would go. When They attacked again in overwhelming numbers. To put it bluntly I ran. No point in dieing with the rest. I might even be able to return and resurect a few. But I was not fast enough.

After that It was called a lose.

Watryk a weakling not strong enough to affect the outcome, but was there never the less.
