The event tonight was a lot of fun for everyone involved on the Zorai/Fyros side of things. Through awsome coordination between some of guilds and experienced raiders, we were able to clear out all three camps of goo infected gibbai, as well as the groups of antikami's in the prime roots... we were even able to take out a kitin patrol =)

While the Karavan side of things didn't finish, they put up a strong effort and were eventually recalled by their Karavan guides to prevent further unneeded losses. Hopefully everyone involved found fun and enjoyment in their raiding.

I thought it was a blast. Grear was kind enough to take me on a tour of the raid sites before the event kicked in. Woohoo. It felt tense even then. Then, as the absolute chaos started, it was insane. There were more than a couple of times when we went, 'ah yeah. Wipe. Where do we respawn?' only to have the teams pull it out of the fire and keep everyone up. I was getting an average of 100XP per kill... and I still gained almost three levels. Even with defeats in some areas, the group remained high spirited and good natured. To see a dense line of people stretched across the entire 125m radius on my compass... a number of whole teams... big parties chewing through najabs, kipukas and even that kitin patrol. Wow. A little despair and 'this is it?' at the begining turned into a big 'woo!' as a big Fyros contingent showed up.

I have a few dozen screenshots. I hope everyone managed to have a measure of fun in it. :)

Tin.

That was a ton of fun. Quite a long day too. And in the end after being grouped with like 100 people all day I came into my final destination....tryker, only 5 of us were left and finished out the complete Journey to Fairhaven and it's beautiful beaches. Oh and Mastro showed up later after swimming endlessly around alone trying to find fairhaven :D

Thanks Fuzz for guiding us 4 on the last bit!

Pic's of the event.

The prime roots was all about killing antikamis and the Black Circle Mage leaders.

Good job all involved.

I got to be on the Matis side. I guess it was fun. I don't normally call things fun when I'm way over my head and don't really have much impact at all. Interesting might be a better word.

My highest skill is 62 in melee combat and 40 in defense magic. I'm a noob I guess. I could hit the mobs once in awhile, sometimes several times in a row, but I never got exp. During the entire serveal hours I played, I got exp maybe 3-4 times. This of couse is due to the group make up, which I understood. I stuck with it despite the fact that there was little I was getting out of it, other than the novelty.

Our leaders were pretty good overall at getting the groups moving, though it was obvious that they didn't really know what to do to complete the objectives. When we did reach the areas, it was obvious even with the amount of people we had, we were out numbered and outmatched. Overall though, I don't think we had enough people, enough true skilled players and good team organization among the less skilled.

Maybe when I'm level 150-200 I'll find these events more fun.

lol i think they should make group size bigger, and lower levels shoudl be healing cause they have little chance to hit alot of the mobs, man i was level 130 melee and those antikami healers dodged9 out of 10 swings i had, i dont know why the healers were so much tougher than th eother antikami but i guess thats how the game goes
