I play a Fyros, and I like music that doesn't intrude on the game itself (instrumentals work best for me). I've been listening to Native American Drum CDs by David & Steve Gordon (Sacred Earth Drums, Sacred Spirit Drums, Drum Medicine).

I like how the Fyros remind me in many ways of the Nations of the American Southwest. :)

I don't like to listen to music while I play. But if I did it would be Iron Maiden

I wish I could set it up to play FF3(FF6) music at certain times lol =P Like when I'm wandering it would play the worldmap music, ect...

Don't wanna keep switching depending on what I'm doing, would be cool to be able to link song loops to hotkeys and play them at press of a button hehe.

Try http://windowsmedia.com/radiotuner/MyRadio.asp and refine the search based on what you like. Best bet might be to search the New Age stations first, some may be strictly instrumental. If you find a good one, let us know!

Even if they don't have ingame music, I'd be happy with some kind of in-game music player (like in UT2004 or Battlefield:Vietnam) where one could select their own choice of music and when it's played.
Why am I posting here, when I could be PLAYING? :)

I listen to various soundtracks - Suikoden I & II, FFVII - X, Warcraft 2, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon and Star Ocean 2.

And some Taking Back Sunday, Sparta, Thursday, Saves the Day, Tsunami Bomb, The Postal Service, The Red Stars Theory, Further Seems Forever, Mae and a number of others will inevitably work their way in.

The only thing that really fits the Fyros desert I found was the Jurassic Park soundtrack :)

Note to self: When dramatic music is lpaying, that does not mean something dramatic is going to happen in-game.
