Patch to be done 19.11.04

Mesages in game to log out for a patch. Why no word from Lawrence (or anyone) here or in the Announcements section about likely down time & whats in the patch????? Come on - the players deserve a good standard of communication!!!!

If its a minor bug fix (especially server-side) then there is no content to catalogue in a post. I would imagine it might be something to fix the bugs that were happening last night around the time of the server crash, but thats just a guess.

the GM's tell us what the know when they know, or atleast lawrence does, he/she is pretty cool in that department, hell he/she is pretty cool in general, anyway im sure we'll find out soon enough whats in this patch.

You can always check on the chat client for any server downtime info. (as well as other things)

from the german announcements:

. You can now see the colour of armor that was crafted by a player and resold at a vendor.
. Some missions required too high mats, this has been fixed.
. A fix to remove the stalls and login problems was incorporated.
. All titles have been reset. Some homins had titles which weren't allowed to them. You can set your title again after logging in.

3rd reply - thanks for that - I hadn't thought about using klient.

I don't want to make a mountain out of a molehill & won't post any more to this thread.

However, I just think down time should be notified to lawrence (or someone) and a message can then go out in Announcements. If it's just a bug fix that's easy to say. It's really down time that matters - do we make a cup of coffee, have a bath or go shopping for several hours

Surely better for one message than all players scrabling round trying to find out in klients or anywhere else what's happening.

How come I get the impression some of us players only play the game to find things to complane about? They patch and "BANG" someone writes and tells everybody how lousy the devs are. This is only a minor fix! (look at releasce-notes). I didn't know about the patch untill I tryed to log on. But than again... I looked in the releacenotes and there it was! But this has bean dicussed before. I have weak memory of a poll were they asked us about when the best time to patch was. Could this be such a "best" time?

All titles are reset to homin, as some of you had titles which they should not have. You need to choose the title you want when you login.

Darn, I benefited from that for about 2 days after they changed the title levels... luckily I worked my way up to the correct level again

it amazes me how many people you see on these forums saying that the game is ok and it doesnt need any fixes and such but when you go in game people arent happy with the changes...... do you guys who say the game is ok as it is even play this game? or are you posting on the wrong forum? the game is dying out fast people leaving left right and center...... but the game is perfekt (/Sarcasm) take a reality check go in game see peoples opinions and then maybe this game can survive

uh... what? Maybe the people who think the game is fine just don't see the need to stand there saying "I love this game! Its great!" instead of actually playing it. Besides, I see a lot more posts saying "This game sucks" than I do saying "This game rocks" for largely the same reasons; the people who hate something are always going to be more vocal about it than the people who love it.
