On the mainland when you get to the edge of a landborder, the stuff gets REAL weird. It fits the area PERFECTLY.
If anyone is familiar with Brian Eno's album Apollo:Atmospheres and Soundtracks, that will give you an idea.
On the subject, the sounds in this game are just great.
