Cannot log on

I downloaded the small patch today. During the installing there were some kind of conflict where the error message said something about C++. I tried again and it downloaded and installed just fine.
Now I cannot log on, however. I get a message saying the shard is closed (European - English), but when I check the shard appears online, both on the logon screen and on the homepage.

Please help.

I got the same problem... i can login ...but than after that i get shard = closed

Its bc after a patch is installed the Dev team go into each server and test it out before letting us back in

Just for once can ppl just stop askin why just wait

Post because the error message during download and install made me worry.

However, I can log in fine now, so it was just the server being down as described.
