I'm resurrecting this thread to edit my answer. At the time I wrote my first little list, I was hesitant to add one of the groups whose album was constantly on my playlist because, well, they only had one album out that I knew of. I just bought their most recent disc, and I'm feeling pretty comfortable adding them to my all-time favorite list even though they're somewhat new to the scene. Zero7. Their second album is not a disappointment, and that's the highest praise I could pay them considering the quality of their first. I loooooove these guys. I have Massive Attack discs, Portishead, and a whole bunch of other chill-out groups that I love dearly. It's Zero7 I listen to daily, though. I start smiling so broadly that I'm in danger of having the top of my head just slide off. I find myself squinting my eyes and bobbing my head in traffic. Thanks to the U.K. for producing people capable of producing these sounds. Cheers.
