If you really want the kitins to attack then you should get a big group or a number of groups and go to a place where there are lots of kipee and such and go on a killing spree. The raid engine is not Dev based it is player based.
The kipee will send in for reinforcments if they are attacked enough

Or how about Clopper Hill near the Oasis in the Burning Desert? The Dangerous Cloppers aggro at 100 meters and there musta been a hundred of 'em after Soma's wee Tyker butt. Like white on rice, man. Soma will have pinch bruises for months!!

For added flavor there's a rendor boss out there too; between Clopper Hill and the Water Beater camp.

Cloppers and Goari are not Kitin, hence, killing them won't spawn a Kitin invasion.

If you want to fight hundreds of Kitin, go step into the roots and sit in the path of the patrols.

If you want to spawn a Kitin invasion, try killing some of the named Kitin that are above ground, or any of the 'destroyer' ones.

Goari and cloppers are kitin... not the same as higher level ones like kipucka or kirosta.
The kitin patrols are realy just nasty kirosta with a single brain. Alot like the invasion mobs I saw in beta. I think there may be teams busting their shiny heads open some day but with their frightening swarming actions it will not be anything easy. There are named kitins all over in the roots with the same type of hive mind. I have nightmares about getting aggro from a whole swarm of bodyguards. After you see them you will have no doubt why they decimated homin civilization so fast.
