My character creation screen is TOO big. How can I make it smaller?

Impossible to make a character because the screen is too big. Is there a way to make the character creation screen small?

Are you in windowed mode?

If so try switching to Full Screen first.

I tried both Window mode and Full screen and still the same...character creation screen too big.

I seem to think I had this problem back during beta. Trying to remember how I fixed it.

Things I've done to help fix this was changing screen resolutions, changing Default to DirectX, and setting Full Screen mode. I did it all through the Ryzom configuration program under Start button > Programs > Ryzom.

Hope this helps. Can't confirm as I'm not home. But I understand how frustrating things like this get.

PS. Try posting in TECHNICAL section. GM's may answer quicker. Not sure though.

It's very very likely that it's your windows resolution. Try right-clicking on a blank area of your desktop, click Properties, click the Settings tab, drag the slider up to 1024x768, click Apply. If you can't see anything but nonsense on the monitor, wait 15 seconds and it will switch back. If you can see your screen in 1024x768, it will prompt you to click 'OK' within 15 seconds to keep the new resolution. Do this and try Ryzom :)
