Supporting Our Refugees!

Post by neofuzz »

Well.... are you? Are you new to the mainland? Do you need help finding some shiny new equipment? Perhaps you're looking for a guild or some pals around your area and playing time?

I'm not sure how much I can help really...

But I do know I can do something.

I will gladly offer any new Zorai character on the mainland any new weapon, magic amplifier, heavy armour, that they want for free.

*This is a free service for Zorai characters new to the mainland.

*Heavy Armour, Weapons, Magic Amplifiers up to quality 50 for free.

So if you're new to the Zorai mainland post your wants/needs here and I'll be happy to make time to get you some shiny new toys.

I'm sure there are many other capable crafters in Atys who could offer something similar for refugees in their homelands. So if you're a builder and would like to join the "Support Our Refugee's" cause, then please post your whereabouts and craft skills here.

Good idea!

I would be happy to do help provide our refugees with armor and weapons when I can. Our guild is also always happy to answer questions and even provide a hunting party when we can! Just drop a line, either here or on our forums, and we will do whatever we can to support our new refugees!

It's not much, but when I'm crafting, I'm happy to give away my successes to needy folks. If you need directions, or just want me to craft stuff from the things you have, I can make weapons, armour and amps. In game, I'm Linneth.

Welcome to Zora.

Hmmm, I've been planning on hosting several lower level (<50) group hunts, starting this evening. I guess that ties in with this.

I usually hand out weapons once a week in Yrk on Matis to anyone that wants them. I have a stock pile of Q50-Q100 swords, pikes, mage gloves and other stuff that I can hand out right and left.

I know I will get screamed at for this but there is something we all need to keep in mind when handing all sorts of new things to refugees. We must becareful not to give them too much and not make things too easy. If a new refugee comes to the main land and gets the best armor, weapons, tons of cash, and is not made to learn how to get things on their own, when the time comes to do so, it is going to be 10x's more difficult for them. I am not saying that people shouldn't help them. I am just saying that we should be wary of making things too easy for them, in the long run more harm is done than good.

Yes, I can see your point - it could also hurt the economy. Maybe we should keep it Q50 and under. Only give them one weapon and one suit of armor and thats it. That's what I'm going to do from now on anyway. (I'll still help out the guildies though :P )

I'm a new refugee, I haven't even left the Refugee Camp yet. ;) I'm not a Matis though. I don't really want free items, or money, because I like working for things myself. Any helpful tips in game would be appreciated though. Just trying to get my head wrapped around the UI, but I'm enjoying the game so far. IG name is Vane.

Cheers.
