Eh... at level 45, if you have say... 600 base HP I'd think you have 60 constitution, so can wear QL70 armor... so 5 pieces of armor at 35hp a piece, + maybe 35 hp too for weapon (and another 35 for a shield?)

That brings you at 600+175(armor)+35(weapon)+35(shield) + 10 slots of jewelry, let's say QL40, that's 200 more hp...

Is money the issue? Who said you couldnt craft them yourself? Or maybe your guild can work with you... I give 90% of my money to my guild... sometimes I get something in return.

All in all, if at 45 you're at 600hp as a tank, don't blame the game or the other players: the game allows you to have much more than 600; and seriously if you want to solo anything worth XP you'll need them.

Goaris hit way hard for their level, not all the time... but their special attack is devastating. A bit like kipees who stun you quite a lot (not that much damage, but the duration of the stun can sometimes get you killed).

Who said all mobs were the same ? ;)

I hate goaris... I'd go for a clopper anyday instead. But I'm a lowly mage :D

ok give me ql70 heavy armor with 35 hitpoints each piece and I will stop complaining.... I do not have the skills to craft myself such armor, I cannot find it for sale, my guild can't provide it, and probably I do not have the money to buy one. so stop flaunting how big stuff you have NOT EVERYONE IS RICH OR RESOURCEFUL AS YOU.

If you are in Matisland go to armour seller in Davae (other lands there'll be an equivalent village/trader).

As a crafter I drop all my "grind" armour/weapons/jewelry on the traders at base price on the offchance that someone can use them. It's all made from choice mats since those are the only ones I harvest and all have maximum adds.

Since I started doing this I have sold........nothing! I can only conclude that people just don't know that traders sell this player-made stuff dirt cheap (I grind max dodge choice q90 heavy armour FFS). I've also heard other crafters say they have to raise prices to get people to buy stuff!

Check the freaking traders people - I KNOW you can get full sets of choice armour with full adds from them for about 20k (also jewelry, 2h weapons, etc).

I know because I put them there.............

in Davae?, can you put them in Yarkis for sale instead? and if I manage to get in davae (hopefully not maxing my DP) there is 70 quality armor with +35 hitpoints each piece (ALL pieces?) plus the relative jewerly? and if there is, at what price in total, and each?
in yarkis there is barely q50 stuff and the jewerly sucks. I can't find ankles and such of hitpoint +25.

Yes, no, yes, yes and I can't remember exactly - but they were put on at the base price paid by the vendors, so probably about 50K for the entire set.

The q50-150 traders are located in Davae, q150+ in Avalae - getting to them isn't that difficult, even solo at level 20. The only aggro choke point is immediately outside Yrk - wait for someone else to move through the area, "1337" players like me (yeah, right..... :p ) tend to clear the yard-trash gingos and ragus everytime we go through.

The traders operate by qual and take from a common "pool" so a q70 sword sold to a trader in Yrk can only be bought from Davae/Avalae.

Pity it's the same mobs over and over, for no real reason.....

You use the same attacks at 50 as you do at 200, all the flash stuff you get inbetween is good for showing off with and that's all...

In six months time, this game may have something, we are paying to play beta at the moment.

The maps are baren too, no cool landmarks, no dungeons apart from one or two, exploring is pointless as the mobs are just the same wherever you go, just higher level with different prefixes.

I'm not saying SoR is a bad game, it's just not there yet. WoW on the other hand has loads of content, you can hit max level engaged in content and then move on to the PvP game, which is truly open ended, unlike this game whch is open ended because there isn't any content as yet.

133 damage. That's without armour. When I'm wearing nothing but casterpants (ie the least protective armour in the game) it goes down to about 100damage most of the time. I'd say thats pretty reasonable as I have over 650hp at lvl50 defensive mage.

That is partly incorrect.

Yrk has q1-50 AND q50-100 merchants. Davae has ony q100-150 merchants.
(Unless they changed it with the lastest patch, that is.)

You can put the score as you want.
All I see is this:
Thanks to the dreaded patch1, I've started to play at the WoW beta.
I there is just too much quest to do for me to finish them all.

The PvP is great. (A bit like DAoC on Mordred, far from the annoying points of the RvR.)
The background is great.
The graphics are stylized and marvelous.
I've tried a lot of classes and all are fun to play and soloable.
There are musics for each area and the just sound marvelous.

WoW is exactly what I want.

I feel a bit sad for Ryzom, since I though it was the MMOG graal since the beta2, but now it just doesn't stand a chance anymore to get me back.
