on a more serious note, and in an attempt to drag the thread back on topic... Autolaunchers and Launchers are currently useless as long as they take 3x the mats for 1/4 the shots per clip and each clip weighs so much more.

12 mat Autolauncher clip of 6 shots:
Weight: 6.56 (39.36) KG
Bulk: 5.0 (30)
4 mat rifle clip of 24 shots
Weight: 0.27 (6.48) KG
Bulk: 0.1 (2.4)

This item is NOT meant for normal game play, it would be HIGHLY unballancing for it to weigh the same as other MUCH less powerful ammo. As I understand this item and its ammo, it is meant for invasions, where you need to wipe out HUGE numbers of mobs, SO you would have one player, near the stables (have the ammo ON the packer IN the stables, you can still reach into the packer with it SAFELY in the stables and have all IT can carry on it), you load up and BLAM(think thermo nuclear explosion), then when needed reach into packer and yank more ammo out, reload, and BLAM away again.

If I understand their function properly they are AOE blasts, this would mean HUGE devastation to the enemy...QUITE useful when faced by HUGE numbers, but CLEARLY not intended for your "average hunting trip". This is why they weight slightly LESS than your average VW bug.

And about Trkers as slaves...I wouldn't recommend it, they are flighty and tend to rebel and those blows to the kneecaps and other lower regions can be rather painful.

Please come back when you actually have experience with the autolauncher/launcher you moron. Damage on rifle compared to autolauncher/launcher ammo is about 40-60% with roughly double the rate of fire compared to the autolauncher/launcher.

When someone with no, or amost no experience with the assault weapons... and seemingly very little with ranged weapons, comes in and starts spewing about how amazingly overpowered the assult weapons would be if they were usable... I hold back civility and go with the truth. The brutal fact of the matter is that rifles do about equal damage per shot that a dagger user using enhanced damage except at about 75% the hitrate... launchers and autolaunchers use 12x as many mats per shot, have exponentially higher burden/bulk and have a ROF of 50%. Autolaunchers have an utterly worthless Spray aoe on them, launchers have a bomb AOE, and neither of them have enough damage to even be usable.

you could get the same point across, excecpt you could do it while being a whole lot less hostile.
