The online retailer should send you the code with your order confirmation email, or at least that's the intended plan. It's up to the specific retailers to decide how to do it and to make sure those get sent out, so if you haven't gotten one and should have, try contacting their support team.

Well, you won't get the item without entering the code, but you can always enter your preorder code at a later time here: https://secure.nevrax.com/payment_profile/

EBgames sent mine last week but didn't send the preorder code for 4 more days. Nevrax did not send them enough preorder codes to meet the amount of orders they had.

This is why I argue this has been the worst MMORPG launch in history. Nevrax should be ashamed.

Oh, and your current preorder code will simply get you a generic shield with 3.7% chance to defend, 1/1/1 defense, and a broken name. (You can craft a better shield to begin with if you take shield crafting.) And your title Elder of Atys doesn't appear either. And the newbie quests for Zorais don't exist. And other newbie island quests are broken. And the GMs pass the buck on responsibility when you enter your code and don't get either item or argue that they should be spending more time with new players to explain the game to them. (At least they do in Europe, with GMs Soulstealer and Turenkarn - passing the buck to unpaid guides given how badly your employer screwed up the launch really doesn't bode well.)

Still, a vast improvement over beta, and your tickets get resolved very quickly given how few people are playing. Just be warned if you haven't played before - the learning curve and support are both very bad.
