I've noticed a strange bug. It seems that when I accept kill tasks, I sometimes do not get credit for kills. I've tried reproducing this bug, and the only reliable way I can make it appear is to join a team, then kill a mob I have a task for. No matter if I solo it in team, or have help, I do not get credit, and even after I leave the team I no longer get credit. However, before I join the team, I get credit from the exact same mobs.
Anyone else seen this?

I have also noticed this. Anyone know of this? Known bug? Work around? Any info would be great.

hmmmm i havent had this problem myself. Note some things are on "do this in so much time" type deals and they will go away if you have not done them in given time. Can you give us the mission name or anything that might help to narrow it down if it is a specific one I know the devs like details.

Hah, that would help. I am referring to the Kipee kill tasks outside the Tryker main city that are given by Corporal NPCs. I did one fine, then got the same quest from a different corporal. At the same time, I got a Stinga kill task (also my second). I killed 3 of the 4 stinga, then teamed up and couldn't get my 4th credit. So I went over and tried Kipees, killing the same ones I had the first time through the tasks, and couldn't get credit either.

hmmmmm im not in tryker lands but ill make a charcter tonight and try that out and see what happens. My best advise is to send a ticket to support with your issue giving them the same info and they will usualy get back to you asap.jumbala wrote:Hah, that would help. Relogging fixed it for the Kiree, just waiting on a Stinga spawn to see if that one is fixed too. I'll make sure to send in a ticket so the devs know.

Yup, relogging fixed the problem.
On a side note, my team mate had the same kill task I had, and he was getting credit when I wasn't, so not sure what is going on.

I had trouble in beta with kill tasks in teams. Sometimes I got credit and somtimes I didn't. One thing to check is if the team leader is the only one getting credit etc.

If ya read the updates page somewhere on the main site i found it. This is listed as a known bug and they are workin on it.
