Post by danadita »

WHAT'S NEW

[ G a m e p l a y c h a n g e s, r e a d j u s t m e n t & i m p r o v m e n t ]

. Dodge and parry in combat have been reviewed.
. Spell resistance check for Link spells type, direct damage and damage over time spells have been reviewed.

[ I n t e r f a c e ]

. Added of a scrollbar in the guild window for a better handling of it.

[ C r a f t i n g ]

. Crafters can now craft intermediate quality items which will match the quality of the lowest raw material quality.
Crafters should keep in mind that if they use their skill level 150 to craft quality 25 raw materials, it will still result into a quality 25 item, even though it will consume the player's focus expected for a level 150 action (the counterpart).

BUG FIX

[ M i s c e l l a n e o u s ]

. Players can now disconnect properly when they are in the water.
. Mektoubs are not afraid of water anymore.
. Fixed a bug that caused the client to crash when a player was killed whilst sitting.
. Some outposts were not visible but collisions were still active, this is fixed.
. Respawn points will now appear properly on the map after teleporting.

[ I n v e n t o r y ]

. Fixed a client crash in the "empty stack remover".
. Fixes about stacking raw materials in the inventory, when there was already some raw materials of that family in your inventory.

[ M P 3 P l a y e r ]

. You won't loose your hardware cursor anymore when loading songs.
. Fixed a bug that caused the song to not resume when using 'add song' when the mp3 player was in pause mode.

[ I n t e r f a c e ]

. In game windows' are now smaller if the screen resolution is low, in order to avoid an overflow.

Errr what? Crafting doesn't use Focus or counterparts..... I'm going to be pissed if I can't craft because I need counterparts, and I can't get get a counterpart because I can't craft to get the SP.

This is also futher confusing. I've always been able to craft things using whatever mat levels there are, this isn't new, unless they are saying that they are adding more crafting for every 5 level steps instead of 10. Again, pissed unless they are respecing everyone.

Soo.. Crest, any answer on this, as well as why we have to find this info out from the other boards and not our own? ;) (you always seem to be at lunch when it's posted on the others.)

Thanks.

You begin using Focus during crafting attempts when adding stat bonii to items. If you arent adding hp, sap, focus, or stam to your products you will never consume any Focus while crafting.

Worry not.

No, I add stats to every piece of equipment I make, it's never cost focus, nor are there any counterparts for crafting.

So, what, exactly, is it talking about?

You use focus to craft. More items you craft during a session, you'll notice the focus drain.

The patch message just refers to the fact that if you use a q150 craft skill to make a q25 item the focus drain will equal that of the q150 skill.
I think the main factor it was trying to point out is that the end product will equal the quality level of the lowest mat used.

I was crafting with q50 mats and getting degraded results (less than q50). I am hoping that this will end that. If it doesn't, then I don't know what they are talking about.

The only time you use focus in crafting is if you are adding bonuses to the crafted item. For just regular grind no bonus stuff focus is never used, and if it is used it must be in such small amounts that I've never seen a focus drain.
