i dont agree with him. try the trial. it is a good game. it have some intresting things, like the skill system. also it is not a typicall fantasy game from the story like the other 2 big games like wow or eq2.

It WAS a good level grinding game but they seriously overcorrected that in the lastmajor patch. Yes, it is a level grinding game as there is no other content with game except for minor "missions".. go kill this, go forage that, etc...

Great graphics......
used to have a lot of players but now a majority are leaving/left
levelling hard and there is a Death Penalty which can rack up pretty high from overly aggressive creatures.

Game had us hooked until they nerfed mages and made mobs tougher and spells weaker.

Go ahead, try the game....I absolutely loved it until they whacked it.
By the way, it is not "FREE". You still need a credit card to even begin trial subscription...

So is this game any good for MMO fans? I dont feel like downloading the trial, however i might if i hear good things about it.. i like a lot of MMO's and strangly enough i like level grinding, so what do you guys suggest, is it worth it?? also is there pvp?

It has a lot of potential and I believe it will shape up to be worth playing for the next couple of years. However I still think it will take a little time to build up a good player base (I guess this means i'm going to be helping a lot of new people in the future but i'm happy to do so, If anyone is finding mobs too hard in Matis lands give me a call and i'll pass a set of HP Jewels your way)
