I have plenty of time to play, but I can't gain more than 100 exp at a time. I have a right to complain to the company about the difficulties I'm having in a game I paid for, just as you have a right to do so if you have difficulties.

And I know this post is just flame bait, but I'm just sick of people whining about whining. Get over it. When people are unhappy, you're just going to have to deal with them complaining about the game. If people are taking time out of playing to complain, then their complaint is obviously sincere enough that the devs should listen to it.

Here is a solution to your problem. If someone is saying something you dont like .. Dont read it.

Easy now. I understand that people are sick of reading these threads that are complaining about the changes to the game. Not to mention that the other people are sick of seeing posts that say they happen to like the changes. But here's the thing. Everyone is entitled to express their views, within reason of course.

These angry posts are the nature of MMO forums, happens everywhere in every game at some time. We are not SOE and will not delete any negative posts, that's just not right, so what you get is every kind of post in every kind of color. Regardless of what some may think, or wish, there are still many people playing and enjoying Ryzom. This is our forum too, so, perhaps a little consideration is in order.

Cerest, I have an idea. How about having a game issues thread stickied at the top of the forum. Anyone wishing to complain is free to use this thread and you have only one thread per day to forward to the devs. Complaints in other threads can then be deleted. Paying customers (and those who will still be paying in the monts ahead) will be happy because they can now find the information they are after without a lot of excessive sifting and those who wish to complain are not inconvenienced at all. In fact, since they always know where to find their complaint thread it is MORE convenient for them. This would also allow less than helpful posts to be deleted from threads that are intended to be helpful.

It woudl at least be nice if people used the message icons. The angry red face ( ) for complaints, the blue question mark ( ) for questions, etc. That and try and keep posts in non-complaint threads constructive.

I'd like to see a lot less complaining and a lot more ideas on how to fix stuff. After a week now, we get it. There are people who are unhappy with the patch, including me. After a point, it just doesn't do any good.

I've seen suggestions that the entire combat needs to be rolled back. I'm not sure that needs to be done, but certainly the current combat needs to be tweaked so that its a bit more balanced.

I find most fault with the carnivore mobs. They seem to attack too fast, they run too fast, and they do too much daamge. What bothers me most, is that something that is 20-30 levels below me that gives me only 16 exp when I kill it, can nearly kill me if I'm not carefu. That's just wrong. The risk to be is great, and the reward is poor.

i agree, carnivores are somewhat of a problem. there should be _some_ risk pretty much everywhere you go, but maybe not as much as there is now right outside of Capitol cities. herbies are fine though.

i would also appreciate a seperate area for complaints on these forums. maybe even a section to go along with "general" "guilds" "announcements" "tech support" etc etc.

until then, i'll keep complaining back at the complainers.
