Keybind for Attack

Post by spazzlad »

I just got my copy yesterday evening and didn't get to play very much, also played in Open Beta back in April a little.

One thing I have wondered about is the "click to attack" combat. I noticed you can press the <space> bar to target a creature, can you also set a key that you can press to attack as well? Instead of <double clicking> ?

Thanks!!

Yes you can simply hit they key for your default attack action, or any of your other attack type actions. So if your default attack is in the first slot (which it will be by default) then you hit space to target the creature then hit 1 to attack. F6 also attacks but you can use number keys to hotkey any of your other attacks.

Don't forget to go under options (press U) and find the setting to auto-follow on attack. Makes it easier to intercept incoming mobs and prevents being kited.

Just an additional question to this thread...

I am a magic person and have to continually hit the key to attack for spellls unlike a fighter who just keeps swinging away automatically.

Any way to do the same thing for spells?
