Why do you keep calling me Jim? My sig is "j-j-m-1-5-2". not "j-i-m".

If you cannot be arsed to even read my handle correctly, no wonder you get so upset at the things I post. I wonder what you think I am saying?

Just a quibble, but WoW is in Open Beta and shipping live this month. Testing now is all about server response and capacity. Those changes are quite likely going to be in the shipping product.

This may be speculation, but I feel pretty certain from the current status of balancing in WoW, that the nerf stick will be in full evidence during the first couple of months of pay-for-play.

You're probably right, but keep in mind that with MMOs, 'going gold' doesn't mean as much as with offline games. Balancing can continue right up until the moment of release; you'll just have to make people download a patch before they log in for the first time.

Quibble away.

If WoW releases in a completely buggy state with a total lack of balance in mob difficulty, and has to be patched in such a way that it creates a massive exodus of its playerbase in its first month and a half, I owe you a Coke :)

Why do you assume this is to you? The original poster of this thread is a friend of mine who lives in Austalia, maybe it is to him (his name could be Jim) either way I realized it was inapropriate because I kind of agreed with what was being said, but not enough to give support or any intelligent comment about it. I would have erased it completely if I could have.

Really JJ not every post i make concerns you, I rarely even think about you, so chill.

The original poster of this thread's handle is:

blade999

If you read the thread I referenced, he never posted to that.

Only thing I can think of is you are refering to Svayvti or me.

o.O

Plus, I find it hard to believe you would say this:

Jim et. al.
<snip>
If you are not willing to keep an open mind to possibilities, then there is nothing I can say to change your mind, and you just want to be mad at the changes. I hope you find a game you like. I would rather you could find a way to enjoy this one, because as much as you really irratate me, people like you are essential if this game is ever to succeed. I hope to see you in game and hope you can find a way to enjoy it.

To a mate of yours in Australia.

You must be kind of an arse to talk to your friends that way.

I already guessed as much. I just find it highly amusing that you would jump through such hoops!

Seriously, a good chuckle for me. Thank you.

See we can agree on something. Now if we can BOTH agree you are an ass too we will be all set. Hey maybe we can start a club.
