After patch 1? Has anyone even tried? Sorry, I don't think I want to be a part of that expirement.

I think people are more asking why this is a official event since it goes against many things implemented in the game.

I dont think you could fight your way anymore ... Not sure you can even sneak your way past anymore either.

There will not be any official transportation to this event. There will hopefully be player caravans to assist in the travel from your land to Pyr. Mynias the Watcher, and host of this event, is a Fyros by birth, and as such, he will be holding the event in his homeland.

I would be greatly suprised if there are any caravans which can make the transitions between the lands yet, except possibly the matis/fyros link which was by far the easiest before patch 1. The chief reason is we do not have any mages (that I know of at least) which can use fear/sleep on the level of the creatures in the border regions, so no way to deal with the adds which always occur during these treks. We should really offer a prize to the first team of 9 which can get all of its members across bounty beach.

While it's not possible for the GMs to provide transport.. might it be possibl eto alleiviate any DP by those who are able to make our way there? I'm confident it's possible to get there, but would problaby end up maxing out DP.

I'm afraid we can't do this either, sorry friends. But I am confident that you will find ways to work together to overcome this obstacle.

Why dont you just hold 4 events in the 4 main regions? If its about the warning of Kitin invasions then its of interest to all of us.

And honestly... 6pm EST? If people are working until 4-5 that gives someone enough time to organize and execute a trek to Fyros land. I remember the poor bugger in Matis land who was desperately looking for a group to get to Fyros. Needless to say his screams remained unanswered.

Well if Mynias feels that this is such an important event for all races, then he should be more than happy to travel to each of the lands and talk to each race. Hopefully he can find some player caravans to help him through the Prime Roots.

Lets put this another way. This could go be viewed two ways.

1) The Fryos and the Fryos leaders feel this event is extremely important and as such will offer their guards and military personal to guard the way between the lands. If that be by setting up a series of guarded outposts in the roots along the path from each land. Or by offering personal escorts to and from the meeting from each of the lands.

2) This is really an act of war by the leaders of Fryos and the Fryos people becuase of their intentional holding of a meeting to discuss a warning system in a place that can only be reached though the death of many of the other nations citizens.

So I for me personally... If the Fryos government does not provide reasonable protected transportation to and from this meeting or they do not send representives to other lands to discuss the details of this meeting, I will no longer trust the Fryos people and I will accept this event as a act declaration of war. After all it is the Fryos who got us into this mess by awaking the Kitins in the first place. I will not put myself in harms way becuase of poor planning on the part of other parties.

Sorry, I was told to give you guys a chance but it seems like 3/4 of the events go from fyros events to matis events. With the occasional Zorai event thrown in.

Players will NOT be able to get through the roots, though I'll gladly help any who'd like to try.

I will be there to give support. CP and Pilgrims were intending to do something like this, but our last event failed to gain anybody. Of the 20 people who were online at the time, several said they were just wasting time till they left Ryzom and so couldn't be bothered with events.

To cut you some slack I'm sure the GMs are doing their best with events as governed by the rules of Nevrax. But there needs to be a little more fairness and I hope the reality of the state of the community with patch 1 also sinks in.
