not a flame just a obversation..
as the game has very very low pops (not a flame but a true statment)
you find you get 3 types of players
a) the ones who want to stick with the game wanting better things but are never happy
b) the ones who quit the game or have stopped playing it but keep in contact hoping it gets better
or
c) the ones who wont accept the world is ending and no matter how bad it gets they are so in love with the devs the game could start charging an extra $50 per month to play the game and these people would be the ones saying "best idea in the world"
what are you?
i fall into B
ive seen this before in ac2
Re: ive seen this before in ac2

definately B. Staying away from playing Ryzom until I see what decisions Nevrax makes this week. But I'm still very involved with my Ryzom guild and hoping the damage can be repaired.

Re: ive seen this before in ac2
That's a very invalid assessment, unfortunately.
Some people are staying, and are happy - but aren't ridiculous fanboys (that'd be me, I do in fact see the errors and I did infact speak with GMs a few times concerning the matter).
Some people are staying, but won't be happy - but they stay because nothing else is better (another valid belief held by people that think SOE and Blizzard are Satan incarnate - I think they are run by idiots, but I don't feel like uninstalling Warcraft 1-3 or WoW beta to prove it).
Some people are quitting and are not happy about it (people that JJ thinks we are to believe that he/she is, the one that "fights the good fight" spreading "truth" to those "ignorant fools")
While others never really liked the game in the first place, just stuck around this long to "See if it got better"
And others that go to every game just to cry and complain.
And to point out something I just mentioned elsewhere: THERE IS NO "STICKING AROUND" here, once your subscription expires...
YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THESE FORUMS.
Anyway, just thought I'd point that out.

e) the ones who will quit but continue to troll the boards when game balance adjustment #42 doesn't give them an advantage
