Recommendations for improving Kami fame?

Anyone have any recommendations for improving Kami fame? I've been doing the three quests I'm able to do, with the one Kami that will give me quests just outside of Yrkanis(sp) in Matis land (kill 1 kipee, tour, and one other one which I can't remember right now).

Are there other Kami in the area that would give someone tasks, someone with now 1 personal fame (and still -33 or so civilization fame)?

I do plan to balance it out with quests for Matis and Green Seed (some don't drop Kami fame), so I'm not worried about that.

Kill some Karavans.

If you are in Matis there is another Kami Altar (with a Kami of course) at Kami Circle in Fleeting Garden where you can get some missions I think
the bad thing is that you have to walk a long and dangerous way to get there

north of yarkis there is a kami welcomer that gives missions. but be careful there are gingos in the area a friend of mine got killed 27 times before being able to reach it (it's just at 50 or so meters from the town).

why do you have to terrify people
its a little 50 m north of town. all the aggro you will meet is a capryni with a sore tooth. Of course, the occasional gingo might wander close to there.

BUt if you are matis, why bother with kami fame ? if ur kami fame rises, ur karavan fame decreases, and u will lose you karavan respawn points if your karavan fame becomes negative.

I do not try to terrify people, my friend did stop to play because of that. I was warning him about the dangers.
