Please Wait.... straight after login

Before today's patch I git a 'Please Wait...' box up, that didn't go away after 5 minutes. I tried quitting and reconnecting, box appeared immediately after starting up. Rebooted and all the usual stuff.
After patch I managed to get about 20 minutes, and back to same problem.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Usually means that your connection to the server is stalled or has been lost,remember you can bring up the NET box at any time by pressing N in game. Also are you behind a firewall? have you read the post at the top of the forums, usually helps

i experienced the same after the patch i checked the connection and had a ping of arround3k just now i tried to logg in got the plz wait thingie checked the connection and had a ping of 135k????? but ussually if i relogg it goes away and i can play normally
(i have cable connection so its not because of my connection 1mb download)
still didnt figger out what is causing this.
