Farewell for now

Post by nyphera »

For now I am going to put my subscription on hold.

As much as I love the characters and the graphics/animations of this game, it has it's faults also.

No real content ... Sure I can run back and forth doing the SAME old missions "kill X number of Z" "bring me X meats from Y mobs X quality or better" or the "Make me X raw hyde dingo boots X quality of better" , I can do those till I get blue in the face. It get boring.

The grind is the same over and over just the people change. There needs to be more real questing ... dungeons, boss mobs, some kind of a reason to get better at making my armor and working my killing skills than just be a lvl higher than I was before doing the SAME old things.

And to be honest .... they need to work out alot of things and be more informative on the fixes ... like my pre-order code that has NEVER let me log into the test server .... that I HAVE posted to the tech boards on. /shrug ...

I just finished beta testing EQ2 (still buggy for Tuesdays servers going live but alot more content quest and crafting wise) and I think I will be spending some time there learning the history of my race and earning heratage items and abilities thru Questing and questing for some weapon and armor upgrades whille I work on crafting better than I can buy at the venders or Crafting better spells to trade for other items I may need, like furniture for my 1 room appartment (until I can afford a slightly bigger one)

In the mean time I will keep my ear to the ground on happenings with Saga of Ryzom and watch for the reviews and when I see it becoming what it can and should be, come back ....

Safe and fun adventuring to you all

Make that another 2 bite the dust....I'm outta here and heading to Everquest 2 also. I had no plans whatsoever about leaving Ryzom and trying anything else but after that patch 1 fiasco, I'm gone. I had planned on playing this game for a long time as I was VERY happy with it and enjoying myself but not anymore. I'll check back every once in awhile and see how things are going though....
