fight trainer

Post by ayne31 »

i started without a fight pack, now my toon is fight 7 but the fight trainer still offers only ability upgrades, some fight modifiers and a magic "start set" but no actuall melee skill.

I edited the default action with enhanced melee but have to click the icon all the time to actually use the edited action, otherwise it will just be the default fight action :(

There is no "melee skill". Look for skills like "Increase damage 1" and the like. these are the "melee skills". If you can't see these then report it as a bug using the spanner icon on your game pad/menu (on the right of your screen by default).

I'd suggest leaving your default attack action as is. Click an empty square in your action bar to create new combat action. Add your new skill to this action.

To prevent having to repeatedly click the icon, double tap the number key or double click with the action icon with your mouse. When the action is in cycle mode it will have a white boarder around it.

I'd suggest you read the player guides and especially the beginner guides like this one:

thx for this great tip :)

theres only one thing that i still dont understand: the weapon vendor in the refugee camp sells weapons that say "skill: master dagger" p.e.

I still fight witha crafted one because I am afraid i wont be able to use it as i cant train "master dagger"..... :S

Heh heh :)

That had me confused when I started.

Its just a strange way of saying that this is the skill XP stream that you will get XP in eventually. Just ignore it for now. You can use any weapon/armour of your race (more or less).
