For everyone who's not on a newbie island right now its basically the same exact game was it was yesterday, but with a foraging nerf.

Cheers.

Ok...my main is still on noob island.....lvl 36..heavy armor...pike....

It seems that almost everything has been restored to the way it was as far as melee goes.....Yubos went down easily and gave me the same amount of xp.

The only thing that seems to be harder for me are kipee - usually I can take one out without having to heal myself. They're hitting harder. But one self heal and I lived. Had to rest after killing it though.

I like the javing and the fact that they aggro. With gingos and cloppers being the only aggro things the mainland is quite a shock. (this is a re-rolled character I'm playing now)

Things to note: I can't fight a kipee while being attacked by a fledgling javing without dying. Not sure how to work around that.....didn't see any javing around me when I went for the kipee. Suggestions welcome.

So, melee-wise on noob island, it's ok. I can play it.

Don't know about harvesting, crafting, or magic as I don't do those. Perhaps someone else can say how that's going on noob island.

The downside is that it's Friday night at 8:15 and there are only 6 of us playing and there are usually 20, so the past 2 days have really upset people.
(unless they all went to the mainland?)

The only down thing...and it's something that isn't a big thing at all...the animation for gingos and kipee when they're attacking you is kinda funny. Like they're on a stick that's being pushed forward and pulled back really quickly.....but like I said...not a big thing and I'd rather all the other things that are wrong or need doing in the game were done first...lol

Well I'm cautious, but happy to be back in the game.

Wow, there are that many? Probably just DEV's wondering what all the fuss is about.

Logged in my main on ML to see how things go with a medium armour character. After about 2 minutes, with nothing aggro nearby, game crashed. When I logged back in, my character was dead on arrival.

CONCLUSION: don't wear medium armour.
