Combat is doable at my level (L83) but not solo in any fun fashion. I feel that a game should allow for the people within to experiment and find their own path. Instead, every group seems to become a carbon copy where there is one best way to fight, one best way to harvest and one best way to be a mage and anything else becomes difficult if not impossible. I resent being tracked into a 'one-solution only' path in such an open game, filled with so much potential.

I'd like to have my options back please.

Changes seem to have been beneficial towards my style of play (pure healer) but to the detriment of most others. I can't support changes that hurt a large portion of the player base, a healer is no good if all the tanks quit.
