Whenever the next patch or event in need of satire pops up. While I get some of the ideas from my own experience in the game, a lot of the stuff in my three "news threads" came from the posts on the board. You always get the polarized versions of the truth on forums ("It's unplayable because the bunny hits me for a billion damage!" "It's completely playable and totally realistic- these aren't earth bunnies we're talking about, they're mutant Atys space bunnies!"). That's the funniest stuff to use in posts like these. Regardless of who you are or what your experiences have been in-game, if you're reading one of my posts on the board then odds are you've read my source materials; if you've read the source material, you'll get most of my references.

Anyway, the three I've written (the first two were much shorter, but they seem to be growing with each successive article) were improvised on the spot in response to the original posters' articles, so sometimes stuff just pops into my head. Those posters (Spaero and Sadneb) deserve as much credit as I do. Their stuff was funny as well, and a writer without inspiration is nothing more than a typist, which is coincidentally my day job and the reason I can't afford broadband.

I'm glad you've all enjoyed the stuff so far!

EDIT: As far as the "special title," I'm incredibly flattered that anyone would think I deserve one for a few words posted on a webpage, but I'm quite sure the developers have bigger fish to fry at the moment. After all, they haven't even gotten all of the "Elder of Atys" titles for beta players working yet. Besides, if they did divert time and resources to give me a spiffy title, I'd have to make myself the subject of my own sarcasm, and I don't play the villain very well. Cheers!
