Additional: I do not mind change, but "less is more" and "baby steps" are two phrases I'd like to see applied to that change. If leveling was too fast in some areas, make small adjustments to those areas; do not make radical changes to the entire system.
This deserves its own thread! Nevrax's dev team is not the only one I've seen make massive, sweeping adjustments where minor, careful tweaking would have worked far more effectively. UO's devs were just as prone to such errors as well, and the consequences were that they wound up having to over-adjust later in the opposite direction, and would often wind up swinging back and forth for some time after, with each swing of the pendulum dropping off additional players who were irritated by repeated changes to their gameplay.

Signing and addding some perso feedback.
Before Patch 1: was already kinda hard (i do agree with the blind spell overpowering: was kinda too easy with a good mage).
Combat wasnt so easy already: Mobs with very high HP and hitting reasonnably hard before episode 1).
I used to fight grunting raspal in team at lvl 102 melee and was happy to have healer around :) )
After Patch 1: strangely enough patch 1 wasnt that bad for low lvl mobs: maybe a bit too easy but CAREFUL (easy for low lvl mobs apparently: I called low levels up to grunting raspals: 3 of us to kill granting raspal with myself as a tank with lvl 102 2h melee; for higher mobs wasnt good apparently: very high lvl guildees in team of 9 were losing tanks at every fights).
Advantage after patch 1 for medium lvl mobs were that the increased strengh was compensated by lower HP. Results wasnt good i agree: mobs hiting more but easier to kill; apart self-heal spell apparently who increased challenge..).
After patch of the patch (version 19): As I said previously lvl 102 2h melee, the worst situation ever: arriving at border of Majestic and Fleeting gardens i encounter the usuals poor gingo and ragus.. POOR? : not anymore....by the time i swap mage gloves with 2h weap I m already face on the ground.
I accept DP, respawn in avalae, equip my 2h mace q99 and go back.
First gingo I kill (REVENGE LOL) i get 1xp (no good to clear 50ish k DP), i turn around 1 more gingo and 2 ragus.... RESULT? 100K DP..............face on the floor again....
Cant believe it: those mobs give me 1xp and kill me in 4 hits (this is a joke but this inst funny....).

Nevrax heard and actionned problems on harvesting, and many other, now a bigger problem arise: patch of the patch made mobs far far far to hard: its not GOO increase Its GOO shoot....(big time overdose): 2-3 mobs q17 taking down a lvl 102 melee???? please stop that...

Before episode 1, i have been hit over 3k damage by some mobs in Prime Roots.. What now: they just smile and I die or what???

I posted here cos the thread said "we dont want to put pressure, just give feedback" which I think is best way to communicate.
Now this is too much: Do i have to just be a harvester despite my 102 melee (I m not gonna fight nay mobs anmore till something Happens.....).

PLEASE SORT FIGHTING OUT: was real hard before patch 1, now its just put of hand and not fun anymore: cumulating 200K DP in Primr Roots of Knoll of Dissent im ok with that (done 100 times more before : :) ..
Cummulating 200k DP at border of majectic and fleeting IS A JOKE....and with my melee level I dont want to imagine what new player are going through at the moment..
Please fix it...
let us enjoy SoR aagain please.

A nice petition. I'd like to say that while I sign it, I'll still play this game happily until a fix or rebalance comes through.

Although at least regarding lower level mobs I do think that slightly increasing their damage and decreasing their hit point pool was a good idea. As well as hoping that Neverax will fix Patch 1, I also hope they have learned from this and will complete testing and balancing of future patches on the TEST sever and not on the live ones.

I'm too new to the game to sign the petition, I don't have a good enough feel for the issues (especially as they pertain to higher level characters). However, this is a very eloquent thread even with the brevity of most comments, and sends a powerful message.
