New character unable to kill a suckling yubo

if a yubo resists guards spells then they must be tough, not good for new players who have just joined the game Nevrax maybe you should take this into account!

It seems your problem could be isolated to this area...try starting another character elsewhere and see what the results are.

i have started every single race and its all the same, there is something seriously wrong and i know the gms are working in on as i had a group discussion with about 6 of em last night

I decided to use my second character to find out if he could kill a suckling Yubo. His skill stats are 12/6/12/12; using a spear which I had purchased I did kill one but not before it did 75 dmg.

With this result I thought may be forage a bit to raise money to buy a spear, sounds sensible. First 2 extractions went fine pulling 2 x ql 10 sources both times but the 3rd extraction one explosion and I was dead. This character has 250hp so it seems that it possible now to max. out on dp probably before you get to level 20.

Conclusion: They screwed up

I made a new character with Fight, Magic and Forage.
I could not kill a Suckling yubo with the dagger i got, not could i kill one with the acid spell.

This is utter ridicoulous. How are new players expected to get into the game.
I even tried a 3 magic pack character and still could not kill a Suckling yubo. The resist is crazy.

This needs to change quickly!!!!!

For a laugh, and to see if these reports were true, I created a new character and threw away everything of value and headed straight to the mainland Found a suckling and my epic fistfight ended with the yubo on 70% still while I hit the water. He was doing 12-14 hp a hit almost every time (to my 6-9), and that's some beating for a level 1 character. Newbies are going to be pretty disheartened if what is essentially the training mob is so difficult to overcome.

Really, I don't see it staying like this for long.

haha, i made a new zorai char. 2 fight packs and one magic pack.

went out and started hammering on the yubo, the fight took 2-3min and i died while the yubo had half its hp left.
tried again, this time with increase damage 1, got killed, yubo 40% hp left
with accurate attack, got raped.

then i tried with acid 1, yubo had 95% hp left after 10 casts, i died.

tried a suckling mektoub, got raped with one hit.

yubo vs waya: 5-0

There is a specific bug with suckling yubos in at least Tryker, Fyros and Zorai starting island. They have 200hp. It is extremely difficult for a starting character with 100hp to kill one. They also do around 15pt of damage. Compared with a starting char doing around 10.
