So..any ETA when we are able to advance in close combat crafting?

Post by shrike »

This bug has been around since ages on the ATS. Someone in the german forum has been told then that it has been caused the the copying of the chars to the ATS.

But obviously that was not the cause, since it is now on the main servers as well. So, when can we advance in close combat crafting? At patch 2 or perhaps sometime before all mages are running around with q60 gloves or none?

The devs fixed most of the balancing issues in 24h time (never seen that in any mmo, usually takes weeks, or months), so I don't think you should complain here. The devs would have provided a fix in latest patch if they could, but it appears to be something a little harder to fix. Since staffs are pretty important for mages, you can be sure they are working on it. Eta ==> asap I guess

I think he's got every right to complain about a delay in fixing something that they were apparently warned about weeks ago and which they are also responsible for breaking.

However, if their track record with fixes is anything to go by (and they are admittedly fairly fast), I would bet we will see a fix before the end of this week. Meanwhile, I plan to wrap my precious Q80 healer's amp up and put it in storage, and edit all my spells to work with a Q50 amp, which is all any of us can craft right now.

My amp decayed another 10 hp last night in the 30 minutes that I spent actually fighting (I was in a team that whole time, too, no soloing), and I think it would be best to keep it for a rainy day rather than let it go *poof* while I am fighting off a pack of vigorous gingos.

Actually, you can do higher level amps...just that the failure rate is insane and as a crafter you don't get any exp for them. But this bug coming through is arguably the most unacceptable part of the patch, agreed.
