i think things need to be tweaked into place, but you have to admit that it was pointlessly easy for some people to level and that some of the spells needed to be changed (maybe not as much as they have been cos it is a bit much not to be able to hit with high lvl blind) as a lvl 20 mage could blind things constantly for a group attacking lvl 60 (probably a lot higher too) ish mobs. it was definatly overpowered and it was the only spell anyone cared about (with perhaps the exception of either stun which is the same thing, or heal). found it humorus that one group wouldnt let me in there team before patch because i didnt take blind...
i can understand the point of view that solo playing is more difficult, well... im sorry to say i dont have much sympathy for you. i couldnt solo a vigorous goari with my mage character before patch, and even if i could kill it it gave bad xp. now it still gives bad xp but doesnt require a massive amount of time to kill.
harvesting...well yeah that might need sorting, but i dont do much of that so i dont know what the problem is exactly.
it seems like some people just want to lvl up to 250 and then show off to everyone for a couple of months then leave for another game. now that they cant make it to lvl 250 without having to try a little they seem to be crying whining like little kids that have had there sweets taken away.

i am not any where near even lvl 100 on anything and i dont like the patch....so where does that put me in your little pidgeon holing system? i dont like to just run around doing lvl after lvl but i like to make progress.

Was try to use my fight skill with a healer ( heal for 400hp ) , i got myself 2k+HP. 78/111(103)/75. in fighting
* we can handle level 105 mob easily ( till we not got any add.....) for aournd 1k / kill
* If we try to get more than 1k....(1K8) if the healer not react in time for healing it s the wipe...
* After 3 hours of duo we was out of debt only during 30minutes...

After all those " fighting fun " i was paln to change of tactics and use my blast/affliction spell ( with a healer on my back )....... i m only 71 off blast and 53 affliction. I use all spell maxed , with conterract interupt....
* Mob interupt the spell 50% of the time ( with the conteract interupt )
* Mob resist 90% of the time to affliction or dam spell.
that mean if i need to touch a mob with a blast spell , 4 times for kill it....i need to click close 100 times hoping my healer got enough sap for heal me , and use for my part mostly hp cost on spell...
No tactics on spell using now....only luck. I don t ask about try to solo a mob even.... it s the mob resist to the first affliction spell.... you are dead ! The only way is got a high level in fighting , hit Invulnerability and draw you melee weps and get 5 exp.

Was save a lot of my sp for harvesting ( forest 103 ) for got gentle and agressive plan.
Harvesting is no sense. I use gentle speed/rate , agressive QL60 , spec desert. The source die in 20s max , the best forage i hace done in 50 try is a QL49 ( in a zone QL200 ).
In prime roots , i was lucky to can harvest a QL21...
Make the game harder ok.... but not impossible

new plan cost are good , was got 2700 sp to use , so i could got some other race plan....a little problem... If you are not store 1 billion mat before the patch , you cannot make nothing. ( i was mekbout bugged , so only one mek for can save some mat ). But for craft a QL80 stuff you need mat QL80+ , not chance to get it from harvesting... How do? ( we will gonna use Gingo bones 2 handed sword ? or use the Uber heavy QL200 from NPC ( protect 1/1/1)...

I was read about tactics....No tactics when the mob is 90% resist all , when the spell stay 1s! Fight all **** mob look like a EQ event ! for get 1K exp !
I got no fun clicking like hell on a spell button for try to hit a mob !
Got no fun to die like a **** against mob level 60 ! when i m level 111 fighting.
The game is based on 250 level/tree , usually i tke a lot of fun playing 10 hours for get 10 to 20 level in different skill tree. Playing 12 hours for only get 1 level in a skill is no fun.

Affliction spells are now lvl-specific - you need a highlvl spell for a highlvl mob.
Level 10 Spell is min for Mobs of Levelrange up to 170 or more
or have you ever seen blind or stun 150 ?? o_O
