More mid and low level characters need to be involved, IMO, to really score overall balance.

That wasn't the problem. The problem was that the ATS did not have our characters copied over until THIS WEEKEND so basically we had 2-3 days to test the patch with our current characters, no matter what level they may have been.

These problems could have been avoided had the Devs had more foresight & actually listened once the word from ATS was that this patch contained several major flaws.

Cerest JUST posted that the patch for combat fixes will be done today, as well as Harvesting fixes.

How's THAT for Customer service? :D

Are they going to fix magic resist rates? Not many people are talking about it, but its practically impossible for me to solo my magic user anymore.

I'm practically 100% sure that I'm going to get left out in the cold on this one and end up having to either quit or start playing a melee character.

sigh...

I just have *no* faith in these guys anymore.

Devs thank you very much for acknowledging the problems apparent to us all in Patch 1 and for the speedy fix. Now all we can do is cross our fingers and hope the fixes remedy the situation :) .

I think Customer Service from the GMs in game and the Mods here is great, however the foresight and the CS from the Devs and whoever makes the decisions on these patches is clueless.

They had days to post pone this patch. They knew well ahead of time many were and would be upset. There were multiple threads explaining exactly what would happen days in advance. They knew about the current bugs in the patch. They were reported. They knew. Yet they still went ahead and posted the patch instead adjusting it and re-testing it longer.

The very fact they knew of the bugs and what would happen shows the complete stupidity of whoever made the decision to actually go ahead with the patch instead of holding off and doing more testing and adjustments. They could have stopped the patch yesterday and just made the adjustments they’re going to make today. Today’s adjustments are no more than a fix for the amount of cancellations they have received not to mention the bad pulicity new players using the free beta will see with all the complaint threads.
