I know it's been said plenty of times already, but I'm adding my voice to the din anyway. I hope the "new" patch addresses a lot of this mess, but some of the problems have not been listed at all and others are mentioned as getting "tweaked" when what they really need to be is "completely revamped." It's pretty well impossible to level in foraging right now what with the constant barrage of toxic cloud damage (even with source 1), explosions and failures/damage. It also appears that forced grouping/preservation teams are a must, and the "new" patch wording doesn't contradict this.

Combat is a brutal joke where tens of thousands in debt points are accrued on mobs that barely give five or ten XP. And combat is just getting "tweaked?" I sure hope it's a bloody big tweak!

The trading system is buggy as all get-out (many in Matis were putting things up for sale that refused to show in the Player Sale window but would only show in the Your Sale window). Mektoubs have been nerfed down to 500 storage and are now bugged (one of my guildies lost two out of three mektoubs when, after leading the first to the stable, he could not target the second or third to lead them too so relogged, came back and they and their entire contents had vanished completely).

It's a good thing WoW and EQ2 are on the way. It's ironic how SoR's launch was rushed out the door, presumably to beat the releases of those two upcoming MMOs, and Ryzom's similarly rushed, un-thought-through patch may well be the reason players ditch SoR for those other games.
