I just want an explanation from Nevrax "WHY" they did this Patch. I don't give a f**k what's in this Patch 1, I can still solo (it's harder yes, but still doable)

But please Nevrax, please oh please, give us players an explanation to WHY you changed so much within the game. Please.

End of free month... looks like they decided the post beta's over, even the webbie has a new Chapter One thingy on it. Everything seems to be moving forward from this point; but I can't help thinking that with a change of this importance, a character wipe would have been welcome: people respeccing their character and trying to do what they did last week... and getting wiped, accumulating deathpoints, and frustration. A full wipe would have pissed off many people? I don't think this patch will make them happier.

We have to learn everything from scratch again... this patch makes Ryzom look like a new game in which we have been given unspecced characters full of spec points to spend on stuff that changed quite a bit...

It was done to make the game harder the Devs believe if the game is too easy ppl will get to level 250 too soon then leave.
They dont seem to be able to grasp the fact that if its fun we will play a long time at level 250 or maybe play another char as a different race or even restart all together, because the game is fun to play.
So they have screwed with everything we enjoy to the point that its pointless playing.

Fighting now sucks. Growling gingo now kill me where before i could take on 3 baying gingo and win.
Forageing now doesnt let u use your skill as a player u just end up sat on the source till it blows up and kills you.

Tried crafting new cowboy glove amp's never got any xp.Ugly looking thing's what plonker thought a mage staff should be replaced with gloves, we look like we have buckets on our hands.

Was awesome healer now heals downgrade during battle so they are useless
but after battle they heal ok, which is kinda stupid as its during battle that a healer needs them.

Was the best now it just sucks.

there is only to good thigs with this patch for me ammo plans got cheaper

Look guys dev have messed up big time with this patch....the only onez going to gain from this is the ones from this is guys who have been on a long time and got wicked skill pts to comp for change'z..I trainned a guy up for 2 weeks solid hour after hour to get him ready for main. skill & all states high and what happens the skills i worked hard for are worth s**t i got so mant death pts it's unreal...just like the game play now .
We play games and thats all it is A game! To enjoy the game play and it seems even more funny when dev think it's ok to kick us in the guts with a cr*p patch and want us to pay for the plesure! lol nice one .

Some will like this patch...those who have good skills pts to get them out of the mess of this patch...and the others...Well..if dev don't pull pull their socks up it's curtins for this game and not only will their socks be down but the old pants as well with a gingo/dog,wolf what ever you call them bite-in it fitting end to the game

This is exactly right. Devs dont realise that 99% of players prefer to have an enjoyable few hours of experience every night, they dont like playing hardcore games for 10 hours a day, many cannot anyway.

Of course, with the current populations in ryzoms, the 99% stated above is more like 2% simple because those that are left are the hardcore players.

I play Civ3 in easy mode, i've played the game at least once per week, every week since it was released. This goes for all of my games. There is no point wasting precious money supporting people who dont have a clue. We play games for fun. Not for punishment.
