Before the patch came out I was pretty much saying to myself that nothing could possibly make me NOT like this game anymore...sadly to say the worst of my fears has come true.

I'm 75 melee, with a set of q80 heavy gear and q80 2h mace. I tried killing a scary clopper (very very easy to kill normally, never got hit and only gave me minimal xp). The scary clopper completely destroyed me, hitting for 300+ 4 times in a row to finish me off.

Next I tried a malicious clopper, because I forgot it was a bit harder..but I kill those nonstop easily before the patch as well. It hits me for 650, 300, and 650. Fastest battle I had ever had, I was completely owned.

Needless to say, I'm NOT having fun..and playing a game is about having fun. I loved to work on my harvesting skills at night, and I completely dislike the way it is now..I'm a guy who likes little to no downtime, even if it means small xp gains to do so. Now Its small xp gains + massive downtime while harvesting, and 3/4 the nodes explode or prematuraly die because of how fast they dimenish.

I'm sorry, I sound stupid saying this..but I can't stand it. Theres no game I want to play except ryzom and it just went totally south on me...sigh.

I'm feeling pretty much the same way. I would really like to log on right now since its only 9.30PM here, however I keep asking myself, "What will I do?"

I have death penalty right now and there is basically no way I can clear it o.o

Sorta frustrating.

Yesterday I could stomp a prime izam so badly that it wasn't worth my time to even try fighting them. Tonight I was demolished by one. I got an amazing 9 exp from harvest when I tried to harvest, granted I could probably get more if I didn't mind getting killed instantly and racking up an even larger death penalty that I basically can't remove at this point.

Oh ammo plans are only 40 credits each now! That should fix the problem where melee does exponentially more damage than ranged even with supreme mats, and ranged uses 3 mats for every 4 shots!

Wow is a free download on fileplannet takes 24 hours of so to get in though. Guild Wars this weekend if you preordered and Trust me on this one its well worth it.
Eq2 the 9th I am totaly excited. After seeing how this game has run for weeks I am done and wish you all good luck !
