Named Bosses Guide

Post by perrako »

Hey, I hope this would be the right forum for a guide like this. I want to start a guide based on where all the named creatures are, levels, drops, etc. I'll try and update as you guys post more or as I find more. I can only speak for witherings right now though.

Witherings

Zoann
Location: Wanders all over Cities of Intuition
Level: 50ish
Drops: 1 Excellent q50
Base Creature: Messab
Chrome: No

Rakya
Location: East-ish of Mektoub Waterhole
Level: 70 (Loads of HP)
Drops: Supreme q70s
Base Creature: Ragus
Chrome: Yes

Spinah
Location: Haven of Purity (Don't remember exact location)
Level: Not sure.
Drops: Not sure.
Base Creature: Torbak
Chrome: No

Bawaakya
Location: Haven of Purity (Don't remember exact location)
Level: Not sure.
Drops: Not sure.
Base Creature: Bawaab
Chrome: Yes

Tang Ka
Location: Not sure.
Level: Not sure.
Drops: Not sure.
Base Creature: Kizoar
Chrome: Not sure.

I don't know if the Ora is in Witherings. Basically, it is everything from "Tang Ka" Except based on a Yubo.

I would appreciate help from people in the Matis, Fyros, and Tryker lands in compiling this list for their area.

Excellent link, however, it doesn't list location or drops or chromeness.

Cromeness... that's a valid argument how? Any named mob w/ "cromeness" tends to be supreme mat mob... just a trend.
Might want to consider getting ahead of the game and draw out their location areas on an image.

To be honest, I'm still convinced that "chromeness" is just broken or mis-applied critter skins. Why?

During the first open beta, all javing looked like shiney ("chrome") igara. The reasons being that the model for javings was not complete and the skins for igaras were not compete either. Result: shiny "chromy" javing. The other reason being that I have the advantage of having to use low graphic settings. Those lower settings allow me to see the low level model (something many other players *never* see) at a very close distance. The low level models for all the "chromy" critters I've seen is the same as the low model for their "non-chromy" cousins.

Well, I'm willing to bet a stack of cash that the low level skin is the same simply because it'd be worthless to calculate the reflections at a far distance.

Don't know about the Javings, but perhaps they used the crome igara's skins so that the Javings had a skin to seperate them from the Igaras...
