First of all this is a place for constructive crititism, and as such plz refrain from any flaming, of either posters or devs. That said feel free to put in your 2 cents about the new patch.
I for one was really excited about this new patch, and was really looking forward to getting home from work so i could get it. What i got didnt live up to my expectations.
First of all theres the lag. this might be because of all people want to get the patch at the same time and therefore cause some lag. If this is the case, i expect it to be gone tomorrow. If not this got to be fixed!
Second theres the new mobs damage. This was announced before patch and as such wasnt unexpected, but still anoys me. im a lvl 73 melee fighter and im having trouble dealing with baying gingos, heck i almost got killed by 2 timoruos bodocs. This cant be right. While i enjoy gaming for the interaction with others, hence i like to team hunt, but once in a while i like to solo. It is now imposible ( well almost ). Neither can i take a party of lowlevels out for a hunt and protect them, because i cant take them anyplace where theres xp.
This destroys much of the fun.
Foraging i havent tested out yet so i cant say if its good or bad.
On the plus side i like the new skill system and the chance to make up for some of my rookie mistakes sp wise.

Same here, looking forward to new patch for some much needed content. but imho this patch has done so much damage to it.
im keen to hunt in groups but you are never promised this every time you log on ,i went out of YRK and was mashed by two ragus. im level 52 off 51 melee and i was amazed to be taken down in 8 hits.
i only got one spell to hit and the others were deflected ,when they said the mobs are going to act different i thought of town invasions more often not bumping there damage up so much you aint got a hope in hells chance.
one thing i thought about this game is that im very limited to go exploring but as im in a great guild with hunts all the time this wouldnt be a problem,,,,not now though
all i can say is 58k in DP's in 10 min and never managed to even get anywhere near the kipees HELLPPPPPP

I don't know about the rest of you but I got seriously bugged game wise. My spells got bugged to do lower heals then before the patch, and my dodge ability got thrown out the window.
Here's the situation, bought the heal, sap and stam spells and all there upgrades and the necesry creds. Tested my heal on a friend standing there, 247 hp. OMG what happend, I healed for 306 before patch. Here are the facts, before patch heal 11 had 198 base heal power, with amp I got up to 306. Post patch heal 11 have base heal power of 398 and I only get 247 hp heals with the same gear????
Also as I said above, my dodge was thrown out the window. I wanted to test my heal power on someone so asked a guildie to take some damage for me, so we take on the gingos outside Yrkanis. Well, they hit me 48 time out of 50 now. Before the patch they would hit me maybe 5 times out of 50, the rest I dodged. What happend? This reduced dodge also semde to apply to my guildie who's life went faster then i expected, and he's around lvl 100 in melee.
If this reduced dodge ability gets scaled down with increasing difference in player lvl and mod lvl, how the hell should we be able to take on higher level mobs at all?

I loved many small changes not clearly put in the content lists.
Like:
*No more storage popups in guild hall
*Guild info now work displaying members
*You can now see what guild other players belong to if you click that option.
etc..
Creathes a smoother experience =)

Is heavy armor protection now more important than the dodge factor of light?

i am giving it a chance. I must say im not all that disapointed about mob damage, most mobs are decent enough, but i do think that raguses and gingos do way to much damage. this is especially true in matis land where a new character cant step outside town without getting attack by one or the other.

Im being patient about the new patch no real bugs except the amaizing swimming cloppers taht aggord me from a mile away was one of the funniest things i seen in a while lol jumped into the water and a crapped my self when i saw they never stopped at the edge (thankfully though they just danced round me for a bit then ran away)
is there way to send screenies in game so ican report it

Yes I have to agree I am a 118 Melee and for me not to have the ablity to dodge a Suckling yubo ( i tested it and it hit me every time ) is a bit much.amitst wrote:at level 110 even little yubos can hit you now...does this make sense? no.
And well i have had no luck with the harvest as a solo, but that could just be me not used to the new system.
What i don't understand is if all these points were raised by ppl on the ATS, why go ahead with something which most players, well just hate it seems.
On the plus side a few new things like the merchant system and i think i could have even bought something off a Hawker, though never went through with the sale nothing i liked.
My point is why have players on a ATS then ignore completely what they tell you.
