It's Christmas time in Atys land.

I'm pulling down patch 1 as i post this...actually im at work but its being loaded into my computer at home as we speak.

I don't know if you feel the same but I feel like a christmas present has been delivered to my home just waiting for me to open when i get home. I know alot of people have been guessing what the new changes will entail, posts of how bad things are gonna get with the new patch....but remember this, every comment up to this point has been just guesses. We won't know the effects that will take place until the patch is live.

People on the test servers say this and that...how this and that will effect the game, has anyone actually thought that maybe, just maybe the developers went overboard on some of the options they put in the patch on the test server to see the reaction they would get in this forum. Maybe from the reactions they got from harvesting and things like that they have toned down or changed some of the new additions.

So i'm going into this patch 1 thinking it's all gonna be good and completely fresh. No preconceptions or assumptions just that there will be new and exciting things in the game i've grown to love.

People are against change, this holds true even in real life. We all will need to adjust a little, but isn't that what makes all of this exciting.

So if your standing outside my apartment when I get home what youll see is my mad dash from my car to my door, because Torreg has a present waiting for him in the computer room.

Me? Heh. I'm one of those "resistant to change" people. My picture is in the book as an illustration of the explanation of the phrase. Right this moment, as I type this, one of my guild mates is trying to get me interested in the game again through IMs.

His excitement as well as yours just leaps off the screen at me. *sigh* Pray for me. I sure ain't lookin' forward to it. Don't mind me, hon. You go and have your fun. *wipes away tear* I'll be over here with my neurosis's.
