It pains me to admit that I needed a crystal clear example and it was the best I could find. And once TI came out in the open defending the process... well it was kind of pointless to avoid saying who it was. I still tried to refrain from being outright rude after all the provocations I have been exposed to. And trust me, that was hard as hell.trueshot wrote:I have remained quite on this issue until now, feeling it better to try and let this pass in hopes that the negative publicity of our "Great Community" would get hidden. Sherk, you say you tried to be polite, but in previous post, you stated you did not want to point fingers and name names, yet you did. First by naming events done by a guild that are so easily recognized it is almost funny, and Second by coming out a truely naming TI.
Udyfastu is right. We should all be ashamed of ourselves, Players and GM's alike. We allowed a simple issue to blow up until it is a glaring "Black Eye" on the game.
Of course, it's hard to promote the great community spirit when people are trying to make you feel like an evil ***** drama queen for trying to explain why some people are disgruntled and/or unsubbing, since it didn't seem to be clearly understood what the real issue was, at first. Now it seems pretty clear and the CSRs have apparently caught on with the situation.
It was never my intent to try and make TI leave the game. As if I even had the power to do that. I even said I liked most of you, although some of you must not like me back very much at the moment... and I guess I can understand why. Some decisions are sometimes very hard to make. I hope you all won't be angry at me for too long.
Let's hope for the best in the future... and don't hate each other too much while I'm away, because I'm not unsubbing and I will be back... soon (TM).
