Yeah ... about that Modo. There is a long and colorful history of Raynes executing personal attacks against me. These attacks then branched out to attacks against my guild.

Some time ago, I simply decided I was over it.

Like I said before.....I'm not trying to take sides or get in the middle of this feud between Raynes and CP. I don't know the history of it other than this thread and the thread I was directed to.

As a rule, I tend to distance myself from any group that has a habit of personal attacks. Right now, it seems like there are some serious battles going on between the Zorai guilds.

I like that there is hostility between the guilds, I think it adds to the game. But could we please keep it to role-playing hostility? Post about how in game Raynes is a pain, or how in game CP is trying to take over Atys, but leave it at that. Hopefully as the game develops, there will be guild wars and we can settle all these fights on the battlefield. Until then, use the role-playing forum to attack eachother's in game personalities. I think our differences in opinion can make Atys a truly realistic world, but don't get Atys characters confused with real life people.

Ok, time to go home from work. Now I can actually play the game instead of hearing people argue about it.....hooray!!!!!

For those of you who have forgotten, here's a few forum rules as a reminder about how to treat your fellow players:
---------------------------------------------------------

* Please remember the golden rule: To treat other forum users the way you would like to be treated yourself. Please use common courtesy, and enjoy using the official Saga Of Ryzom message boards.

* This forum's readers include people from many different cultures with their own standards and forms of communication. Take into account possible misunderstandings – on your own part or someone else's – even when statements seem straightforward. Try to assume an attitude of mutual respect, listening, and learning. Also keep in mind that many participants are not reading and writing in their first languages. However, please feel free for a lively and engaged discussion.

* Do not flame or insult another user; such messages will always be edited out and are subject to deletion. Out of courtesy to other users, do not post random off-topic messages, especially in any given thread.

* You should be clear, civilized and polite.

* You may not attack or insult other players

--------------------------------------------------------------

If you disagree with someone's post you may certainly make your opinion known. You MAY NOT publicly ridicule or flame a player that you don't agree with, ever. Honestly, do I have remind you all of the golden rule? Should I actually say "do unto others as you'd have done to you"? Come on people, grow up. Don't make me put you in "time-out".
