Indeed I think they still play a lot of Lineage II (and even the original Lineage) in Korea. I've only ever played LII very briefly, but I certainly preferred Ryzom. Let's see... the characters in Ryzom are nicely designed and quite attractive, so that's one plus point for the Korean players. Plenty of options for RP and adaptation of characters according to lore, resulting in characters that can invite emotional attachment - check. Hmm, incredibly oversized weapons weighing more than the player themselves, but usable with only one hand... now that might need a little workhijati wrote:I think we should just translate Ryzom into Korean...if it catches on like Warcraft III then we would be golden
I really do think, with a localised client and the right marketing, coupled with a dedicated server and community, Ryzom could have a considerable amount of potential players in Korea.
Anyhow, welcome in advance to any incoming Russian players, and to the existing ones - please don't ALL leave Arispotle if the new server arrives!
