Website Politics & other suggestions

Post by lexxin »

Just wrote two suggestions on the forums
http://feedback.ryzom.com/pages/2600-en ... nt?days=14

The first one is in regard to the confusion tactics of multiple "official" websites, the second one in regard to deserted guilds owning Outposts.
I hope you all have an opinion on that - discuss :)

I don't see the use of an external feedback page when people also open a thread here pointing to their posts there -sigh-

Maybe start a collection thread where everyone can just post his/her updates? Alot better then 100 single threads pointing over to the feedback forums.

Just my suggestion to this.

that's what my first suggestion is about ;)
i wrote it here, hoping, that some people still read forums and to make clear that forums are pretty much the best means for communication as such.

CBA to post on the feedback page, exactly because it's lame. ;)

However, wanted to respond regarding the OP 'issue'. Just take the damn things if you can. It's not rude, it's just PvP, which is part of the game. :p

I generally agree with your posts, tho i don't think forcing people to visit the Op is a good solution.

Personally i always tought OP (and apartments, gh) need an upkeep to be payed, ie: every 15 days. A big upkeep for OPs and GH, a lower amount for the apartment. If you don't pay the upkeep, u loose the access.

So, in this situation would be easy to say, if a guild don't pay the OP upkeep for, ie: one month, the OP will be back to NPC and any building is destroyed.

I agree that would be unfair to attack an OP when maybe the guild has just some rl issue to cover, so best solution is to have a game mechanic dealing with it.

About the zillion sites, well, i already posted my opinion in the past and i agree. In fact i never created (and will never do) another account for the feedback site.

But, i have to say that, using the rss feeds is not so difficult, so at the end, if you really want, you can follow them easy.

Tactics? Really? Ryzom is now some nefarious plot of some sort?

You have been playing too many $OE games.
