Servers Temporary Down !

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the down of all of the servers (00:24AM Paris time).
We are working as best as we can to resolve this and get the servers started as soon as possible.

"Hardware Network Failure" = Someone plugged the expresso machine into the server outlet again

At one of the places I worked there was always a network outage in one of the smaller buildings for about five minutes every friday around 4am. Equipment and UPS logs didn't show any problems.

As a last try, one of the network guys stayed at the building overnight (no 24h support normaly) to check what is causing it. And what do you know, around 4am, bam, outage.

He goes into the server room and finds the cleaning lady happily hoovering the hallway. Turned out she could not find a power outlet and unplugged the building's main router - she obviously didn't know where the cable went

After that all outlets were labeled so there is no mixups between the desk lamp and the important stuff (yeah, was a long time ago, outlet coloring wasn't a trend back then).
